Most failed lawns out here come down to two things: the wrong turf, or turf laid on unprepared clay. We get both right — clearing and grading, improving the soil, and laying a turf variety suited to your yard’s sun and how it’ll be used.
Remove old lawn or weeds, cultivate and improve the soil, level and grade for drainage, lay fresh turf tight, and set you up with watering and care advice so it knits in fast. We can add irrigation while we’re at it.
Good to know
As a guide, supplied and laid turf runs roughly $15–$30/m² depending on the variety and how much soil prep the site needs. We’ll measure and quote for free.
For our heat, sun and clay, hard-wearing buffalo (like Sir Walter) and couch do really well. We’ll match the turf to your yard’s sun and use.
Usually wrong turf for the spot, or turf laid on compacted clay with no soil prep or drainage. Getting the groundwork right is exactly what makes a lawn last.
